The Genesis For Good Foundation (GFG) is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to building thriving, inclusive, vibrant communities by advancing economic opportunity and delivering positive community impact. As the philanthropic partner to Genesis Bank, GFG mobilizes capital, relationships, and strategic resources to expand pathways to prosperity—especially for historically under-resourced and low-to-moderate income communities throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County.

Genesis For Good Catalyst Empowerment Grant Program

The Genesis For Good Foundation launched the Genesis For Good Catalyst Empowerment Grant Program in partnership with Genesis Bank to empower growth and success for small businesses and diverse entrepreneurs operating in historically under-resourced and low-to-moderate-income (LMI) communities throughout Southern California.

This innovative program helps small business owners that are too often underestimated and overlooked gain access to direct grant funding and strategic support to overcome financial barriers and accelerate growth. In support of expanding the Catalyst Empowerment Grant Program to positively impact more small businesses, the Genesis for Good Foundation has graciously received generous contributions from Fiserv, Inc., the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, and Citizens Business Bank.
